OTT streaming provides content owners with the opportunity to bring their content to a TV in the regular channel line up without having to pay for broadcast media capacity. S&T offers services for content providers to enable distribution of their content via HbbTV, ATSC3 and MHEG applications, including:

- Supporting web and mobile applications
- Content encoding services for Freeview, YouView, ATSC3 and also for traditional web and mobile platforms
- Distribution of content via the Synapse custom CDN
- Integration with industry standard advertising services for monetisation of content
- Viewer measurement and reporting services.
Examples of live services on free-to-view platforms include apps that deliver shopping, news, sports, kids content and general entertainment as live streams and VoD.
These may be monetised through insertion of commercial breaks using industry standard advertising services via Synapse advertising systems and custom CDN.
