Connected TV

Connected TV combines broadcast and IP connectivity to receivers, enabling the delivery of content over both paths as well as supporting interactive applications over IP. Connected TV generally uses an unmanaged internet connection (as opposed to IPTV which requires a managed IP network).

S&T offers technology for Connected TV systems based on both MHEG and HbbTV public standards with our TSBroadcaster, S&T Player and Mediator products, supporting live streaming as well as on-demand video content. We also provide our RedKey™ software for receiver manufacturers to integrate in their products to provide MHEG and/or HbbTV support in their products.
