TSDeveloper

TSDeveloper provides an integrated solution for the generation and playout of interactive TV applications in the authoring, applications development and test environments.

Housed in a portable desktop unit it accepts output from authoring tools and generates an RF output that connects directly to target receivers and set-top boxes supporting MHEG-5, MHP or OCAP/ETV standards.

Applications can be viewed and tested on target TV devices, avoiding the limitations of emulators and allowing true performance and behaviour to be exercised.

TSDeveloper provides DSM-CC Object Carousel creation and management, Transport Stream generation and an RF Modulator integrated together into a compact desktop unit. Video and audio streams can also be multiplexed in for playout from the same unit. It is based on the same core technology used in S&T's TSBroadcaster and TSPlayer products, providing a subset of the rich feature set and API that is widely deployed at broadcasters and network operators worldwide.

The OCAP/ETV version is supplied with a cable QAM modulator and the MHEG-5 and MHP versions are available with DVB-T, DVB-C or DVB-S modulators.
