Test Transport Stream

To ensure a Transport Stream is configured correctly for broadcast then look no further than S&T’s range of stream generation and testing utilities. We understand the complexity involved in making sure that a Transport Stream is built and populated with full compliance to the receiver hardware. S&T’s tools will simplify this process whilst exposing the full range of stream parameters and Service Information.

SoftOC

SoftOC is a complete transport stream generator that includes the ability to create DSM-CC object carousels. With SoftOC, your engineer is granted low level access to transport stream encoding, enabling you to develop test cases that exercise a receiver over the full range of broadcast standards and not just typical cases. You can then be sure of developing strong conformance and regression tests. SoftOC’s simple command line operation means that it is easy to integrate in to automated testing schemes (e.g. for automated regression testing of receiver software).

TSBroadcaster 2

TSBroadcaster 2 is our rock-solid system for delivering interactive television applications. It generates DSM-CC carousels and encodes them into MPEG-2 transport streams for the delivery of signalling, applications and firmware updates. It conforms to OCAP, ETV, DVB-MHP and MHEG standards and has been widely deployed on a global basis

TSMonitor

TSMonitor watches your broadcast interactive applications and subtitles/closed captions to make sure they are playing out correctly. It detects inaccuracies in output and timing and flags them immediately on a high-level overview page. An operator can then drill-down quickly to more detailed detailed diagnostics. TSMonitor effectively eliminates the need for numerous set-top boxes, monitor screens and human testers. Receivers are virtualised within the user interface, complete with all necessary functionality.
